As a premium seller the first few months of 2013 were very difficult. It was difficult for me.
I track my trades and categorize them as credit verticals, debit verticals, calendars (& diagonals & covered writes), butterflies, and nakeds. Any trade that included an uncovered naked short (Jade Lizards, short put, short call, strangle, straddle, ratio, ratio'ed credit spread and the like) that therefore had "undefined" risk fell into this category.
The only category that was positive in every month (so far) in 2013 was the nakeds. And they did really well considering how little premium there has been these past months. Just thought I would share that.

Yea My biggest Winners were Naked Strangles by far.. GOOG and SPX RUT,

Trying to keep this forum going, Where are the TastyTraders at? My Plays ... Bot 2 SPY..163/162...Put Vertical for 39c.. Sold 1 SPX 1575 for 1.00...My Deltas were long, and I wanted a short bias, So i then sold 70 SPY shares at 163.29. Will update Monday evening.

Looks like the board is dying a quick death. I had high hopes for it too. I was wanting to see how other part-time traders were doing. Is anyone making money? I work for a living and can't watch tastytrade all day. I'm sure others have lots of questions like me and was hoping to benefit from questions/answers in a more efficient manner than watching hours of video every day.

Ok Todays update... Tried to be mechanical Bot back spx at 45c.. Bot back the short 162 at 42c.. Rolled the 163 to july 161 for even at 62c.. Sold -3 /ES 1580 puts for 65c... Should have laddered the puts could have gotten them for as good as 85c... and still holding the -70SPY from 163.29... AND MY DELTA is -50 at the moment..

Rough day for me today, but still holding strong. Sold -2 /ES 1590 @ 62.5 average.. Bot back a 1 /ES 1580 @.50c thinking we were gonna start pulling back.. Only bad move... So Now I have -70SPY @163.29 -2/ES 1580 -2/ES 1590 2SPY 161 and Deltas -50 So far down -100 bucks total ... Will update 2morrow

Sorry for the delay...Now for the weekly update... I ended up -269 dollars on my SPY positions(Covered at 166) and +102.50 on my /ES positions, and I did the YUM earnings play for +30..So I ended the week down -137.50. Not bad for a market that went straight up the whole week.. So Im back at it again this week.. Short -70SPY @167.53 and long 168call @82c... Im Short about 30 deltas. Big Earnings week: GOOG and CMG on Thurs night which is perfect for Strangle Sellers Update Monday night... Keep Calm and Carry On....

This is becoming my own personal Diary haha.. Well another day up. Sucks but I adjusted sold my spy calls @106 and then sold -2 1625 puts at an average of 57.50c... So today closed down 25 dollars... Deltas as always -24... Keep Calm and Carry On...

So last night around 6pm someone put in a bid on the 1625/es at 70c... A gift I had to take...So now I am short only 6 deltas... And Average of 62c on -3 /es...See ya at 5pm for the next update. Hey maybe Ill make some cash today..Who knows anything is possible..haha

So this pullback was welcomed with open arms...Still short -70 Spy so flat now and down -12.50 on the /ES 1625 Average at 62c.. Now just need as another day like today and we will be in the money... Overall UP 10 bucks so far...

So my emotions took over today... Ok, this is what happened at 530am I see the futures down 10 and my /es 1625 futures were 80-95 I was thinking this is the beginning of the big down move..So frustrated I sold 2 of my 3 futures at 85c... And of course by the time i got to work the market was up..So I noticed that the /NQ was lagging behind. I did a pairs trade at 840am bot 1 /ES and Sold 2/NQ

very non response here..Closed out most of my pos. and gonna get killed on my GOOG 910/915 call spread
SPY 167 PUTS closed .06c
SPY 70 SHORT cLOSED 168.91
Overall up 40 but 2morrow looks like gonna end the week.. -160 Still learning hoping for a break down so will update my weekend holdings

Ok I went short again 169.50 SPY 70SHARES
I Shorted 5 SHARES of GOOG at 900.17 TO go along with my 910/915 call spread
